Whether you are fairly new to exercise or a seasoned veteran who has spent numerous years and countless hours "in the trenches" taking your results to the next level is a daunting and sometimes frustrating endeavor.  At one point you’re making gains at record pace then suddenly those gains come to a screeching halt.  You pour more time and effort into building more muscle, losing more fat, and increasing your strength and despite all the “extra effort” you put forth you get little or nothing in return.  It feels like you’re fighting an uphill battle.  

 

It is at this time, in an act of desperation that many trainees will then radically change their training regimen and/or diet, often going from one extreme to another.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.  Regardless, one is left to ponder “What next?”
