The Power of Gratitude

Every day we make the decision to either be grateful for what we have and what we can do or to feel deprived for what we perceive we may be living without. Place Gratitude at the core of your thoughts and what was once ordinary becomes extraordinary blessings. We all know how important our health is and yet when it comes to making time for health and fitness we sometimes forget about the power of Gratitude.

Gratitude is an empowering tool we can use throughout the day to keep us on track and help us reach and maintain our goals. Replace the negative thoughts and phrases with positivity!

Ever wake up in the morning and think “ugh I HAVE to workout today”….

YOU have the power to change that thought to” I GET to workout today”.

How about, “I guess I will workout today because I HATE my body.” YOU have the power to change that to” I will workout today because I LOVE my body.”

YOU have the power to change that to” I will workout today because I LOVE my body.”

Then there is the old guilty healthy habit slip-up, “Why did I eat that cake, my day is ruined”…

YOU have the power to change that to “I ate it, I enjoyed it and now I vow to make healthy decisions the rest of the day.”

Search for unexpected places to add reminders of gratitude, for example, how many times a day do you use passwords? Make all your passwords a positive word or phrase … Every time you enter a password will become a chance to reiterate gratitude in your life. How will you add the power of Gratitude to your day?
